i was told by a Yam tech to start down then tilt. forces the water thru the powerhead first. ron

not for nothing, but the marina should have called you before they launched, unless they weren't going to charge you a haul out to fix the thruster if external issues were at play. ron

fyi, my '09 330 and '21 300 did/does not have a dedicated battery. if you look at your schematics it should show battery layout. good luck ron

there is a process to follow regarding the map updates. can't remember, but look it up. fairly straight forward. the software should update from the sd without active captain input. i download directly from the garmin site to my pc then an sd, following the appropriate download instructions...

if the Garmin and CL7 are networked you will be able to see it on the Garmin device list (if you can see your engine info on the 1243, then they're networked) if not, you need to use a Garmin network cable from the 1243 to the CL7. you can then update (maps & software) via sd through the CL7...

can't help on removal (some have suggested various products but i haven't tried any). But, after wash down i wipe the windows with an Absorber. has prevented water spots so far. good luck, ron

if you have a 2022, call your dealer and let them look at it. my '02 gulfstream caught a dead battery during the first season. they changed it with no other problems identified. good luck, ron
