    Spring cleaning the Strataglass!!

OK - gotta ask. Does all of your recommendations work for Eisenglass (or Isinglass?) as well? I'm sure my enclosure is not strataglass, but cheaper vinyl. I am starting to have some issues and want to clean, polish. Advice?

    Marlin Anchor and Windlass

Thanks for all the feedback. Some further comments- Its a big boat, I am relying on the Admiral at the bow, so I am seeking an easy, sure, hook-up. I think I will try to fit a complete danforth and rode somewhere in the boat and use if I have any doubts with the CQR. Is there such a device...

    Genny Replacement Marlin

T - any concerns about Co2 with the EU? I too have a non-generator Marlin and an EU2000. I have not tried the EU on the boat yet, but am planning to. Do you strap it to the "swim platform"?

    Head water source

Fixed it...it was clogged on the RAW water inlet. I repetitively filled the bowl with fresh clean water and went to fill position (not flush. After about three cycles, it cleared. Thanks

    Marlin Anchor and Windlass

OK - hear you loud and clear. Mine is a nice CQR with swivel. Maybe I can find a place to store a second anchor if I have these problems again. All - whats the correct technique with a CQR? PS - I also read on the horizon windlass, that after stopping the release (down) of the rode, you...

    Marlin Anchor and Windlass

Horizon 500, just looked it up. I think there is a clutched and non-clutch model. I read the instructions and you are right. That solved. Now, does the spade (and other alternate anchors) fit in the pulpit/roller? Thanks

    Marlin Anchor and Windlass

Dennis - this was after setting the CQR and the boat bobbing in the wind. The windlass and power was off. I heard it dragging out of the anchor locker and had to loop the chain around one of the cleats to make it fast. I see no adjustments on the windlass. I am very disappointed in the...

    Head water source

Stupid question- but where does my electric head gets its water....is it raw (salt) or from the water tank? It stopped working yesterday.

    Marlin Anchor and Windlass

First time using my new (to me) Marlin anchor and windlass. The CQR would not catch the first 4 tries. I would like to replace it. Anyone have another type that fits on the pulpit (fortress, danforth?). Also, the windlass clutch slipped...is there and adjustment on it, I am sure it is the...

    Trip a few weeks back

Very cool -looks like you hit all the activities. Boat seems to hum with the F225s (always a topic here on the boards). I am very jealous of your sea conditions......here in Buzzards Bay Ma., never less than 3ft chop Great Clip!

    SpotLight

Anyone have experience with the ACR RCL-100. Mine doesn't work. I hear the servo rotating the light, but no illumination. I ordered a couple new halogen bulbs (big bucks), but not sure that's the issue. Can I stick a VOM in the sockets to see if there's juice? If not, there's some relatively...

    Mooring Bridal Pendant for Marlin

Fire - sorry I misunderstood your previous post. I am not sure how much different yours are placed vs my Marlins (which are original I believe). I like the idea of re-enforcing underneath them. thx

    Mooring Bridal Pendant for Marlin

Yes -same cleat setup as yours. But the two pennants attach forward on the mooring to a single point and the boat flops around behind the single mooring ball. The two pennants take turns rubbing on the underneath of the pulpit. I've never been a fan of pulpits, even tho they look cool and...
