Yup I agree-still sore after 2 days. I've worked in the auto repair business for 42 years, so I'm used to frozen bolts and difficulty reaching parts, but this kicked my butt! I know when the bilge pump fails, I'll let the shop do it.

Just adding my 2 cents worth....my 2003 Gulfstream has a mechanical pump that runs off the engine. There isn't an electric fuel pump in the tank hence the primer bulb. The radio does run with just the battery switch on-key off. Hope this helps.

I would contact any one that does canvas repair on boats. They would have the necessary equipment for the heavier material.

My 2003 Gulfstream's helm seat has a lever that allows the seat to be adjusted forward or rearward. The lever is broken off. Has anyone had any experience replacing just the lever or do I have to buy a new seat? Thank you all for any advice.

Thanks DennisG01 and Legend. Good advice. I hadn't thought about using the trim tabs for bow up or down, just using them for starboard or port list. Good results there-amazing how much correction a 1 second button press will make. I'll check out Bennett's site. Thanks again

Had the same problem last year on my 03 Gulfstream. The shop replaced the sending unit (about $250 w/labor). Works great now. Made a huge difference in trimming out for best RPM and speed.
