Do any of you have some type of cell signal booster on your boats?

Sounds like a good solution, I am facing the same issue with my dome light, it looks like crap and works when it feels like it. :)

So I've seen some thread here about them, and my starboard one is bad, so I figured I'd do them both. So far the only place I can find the brass tube is on ebay and they are asking $44 each.... Is that a typical price for these?

Thank you for the information, I really do appreciate it! So Life Seal and Life Caulk can pretty much handle most uses on the boat. I will be checking them out for sure. I'm getting to be an old dog, but not too old to learn. :)

I like to have two so that like may have said, I can view sounder vs. nav, or radar, etc. On the 282 we just got it has one old garmin 4208, an older raymarine with radar that doesn't work and raymarine autopilot that doesn't work. I'm looking to replace it all with two 9" simrad or garmin with...

I've owned a couple boats before the current Grady White and I did a lot of work on them myself. I often used 5200 or 4200 depending on the application. Since joining this forum I see a lot of comments that seem to suggest not to use these, and there are better sealants out there. My questions...

Yeah. Dug a little deeper, it is fresh water for the sinks. Thanks everyone for the input.

I guess I could try and find something that fits, just figured there was a tool for it. thank you.

I did not supply enough information, the hose is removed, turning the nut and this whole thing turns. Need something to keep it from turning. I figured since those notches were there, that there was something that would hold it.
