While doing some spring cleaning on the boat today, I noticed that the rubber cover on my transom freshwater washdown is shot. Does anyone know the manufacturer or how to obtain the rubber cap?

I'm pretty sure they are Beckson deck plates. That's what I used when I replaced them on my 2000 Gulfstream. I agree they are a little steep on the price but if you look on Beckson's website they occassionally sell overstocked and factory seconds at a lower cost.

I almost bought a boat exactly like that 3 years ago. The owner was asking $40000 but told me he would take $37000. I really liked the boat but preferred the huge cockpit of the Gulfstream. I'd imagine that you could probably sell your boat for low $30s. Good luck.
