its 2000 265 express twin yamaha looks like batteries were connected together.just want to make sure this is correct.Dont have grady manual.Do have switch on/off 1,2 both

i didn't take note of previous hook up before I removed them so I need some help.replacing batteries on a dual battery setup.I know the negative terminals are connected with a jumper are the positive connected as well.If not I have a red wire that Im not sure where it goes Thanks

Definately not doing the hack.I borrowed a puller and will give it a shot.If i cant get it i will take it to a shop.Thanks for the replys.

Need to replace prop shaft seal.Looking for tips to remove the nut to access the seal.Checked online looks like I need a special tool.As always thanks for the help. Sorry about the bad picture.

One of my first experiences with this forum involved a project(scupper hose replacement)and the advice i received was tremendous(especially skunkboat)So as he said lets just have fun with this and those windmill #s will be in my gps as well.

As a 265 owner I would think finding the cause of this is important and could possibly prevent this from happening again.And as long as no one was hurt whats wrong with a little joke {hardtop for sale} amongst friends.

just read on a different thread someone suggesting to never use trim tabs.Please explain why and do most of you not use them.Thanks

265 express I have to keep the seacock for the livewell closed when undereway otherwise water will run up through the pick up and into livewell.Is this normal?how does water get past the pump.?Thanks

update; i filled fresh water tank(20 gallons)and boat sits perfect amazing how much that little weight affects it. anyway hope everyone has a good summer.

boat is 265 express.Just launched for the season and noticed slight list to the right while in the slip.This is the side dual batteries are on.Could that extra weight of one battery effect this.Also.fresh water tank (on other side) is empty thinking when I fill that(20 gallons)it will help ..Any...
