Rear deck section on 2004 Grady White Express "How to Secure"

Only "mostly appreciated"? Geesh :p :) Local hardware stores carry SS screws. Glad to see it's working out for you.

Cushions... it's probably a VERY long shot to find good used ones. Just get them made locally at an upholsterer. Cupholders? Those are a dime a dozen at nearly any halfway decent marine store near you. If you don't want to go local, just measure the size of the hole and match it up to...

Rear deck section on 2004 Grady White Express "How to Secure"

Oh, no worries. Looks like you figured out the length easily enough - although that grommet looks pretty long so you don't need to go through the whole thing. As for the diameter of the screw... easiest thing to do is to just try a few different sized screws. Look for something that bites...

Rear deck section on 2004 Grady White Express "How to Secure"

It's kinda hard to make sense of the pictures, but it appears to be, like Skunk said, rubber well nuts. And there are holes in the deck hatch that align with the well nuts? Wouildn't it just screw down? If the well nuts are threaded, use machine screws... if the well nuts are not threaded...

    VHF Antenna removal

Good stuff to think about... but I'm willing to bet that they come right off. Why not just go try it before talking about it for 3 days? :) The acorn nut should come right off. The regualr nut might even come right off. If it just twists, then have someone hold the screw head - as noted...

    lists to port when underway

Up on plane - got it. Thanks for the clarification. Hmmm. With an engine trimmed fully down (or nearly) it's quite common for all (or at least most) planing style hulls to experience a list due to having too much hull in the water (too much drag). But it should level out once the engine is...

    lists to port when underway

Where do you have your motors trimmed when this is happening? What does "underway" mean? Meaning, be as specific as you can.

    Grady Stringers and Knees?

Sort of along the lines of above... a moisture meter does not a surveyor make. Too many variables involved and possible lack of knowledge to blindly trust some survey. Just a quick example... was the survey done right after pulling the boat and right after a rain? Best thing to do is to get a...

    208 Adventure washdown pump issue

It's a little hard to follow what you've done so far regarding diagnosis, but... -- Dirty electrical connections can cause this. This could be either the + or - -- Even old wires can do this -- Circuit breakers get tired as they get old Again, not sure what you've done - but that should help...

    Purcahsing a 1998 G-W Adventrue 20'

I believe what you heard about "wood" transoms is not quite correct - they transitioned to a "better" wood transom, made by a company called Greenwood. But note, this still didn't solve the bane of GW's and their transom rot. The issue was entirely due to how they skipped steps in building the...

    Yamalube 2M 2 cycle oil

That's exactly what I do (RF + Startron), as well, Robert. Are HPDI's worse with carbon buildup than OX66's (which is what I have). I honestly don't know - I just would have assumed HPDI's were the same or better.

2007 Gulfstream 232 Yamaha F250 stalled while trolling and cruising

We can't tell you exactly what's wrong any better than your dealer can - we're not there to investigate things. YOU need to do some hands on investigation yourself if you don't want to take it to a mechanic. About all we can tell you is that the problem is ""most likely the fuel bulb, the...

    Yamalube 2M 2 cycle oil

You could add Ringfree to your fill ups - it makes a noticeable difference in things like the O2 sensor and barbell - so I'm sure it helps keeps injectors and such cleaner, too.

    Yamalube 2M 2 cycle oil

No, I haven't see that before. Odd. But when you say "lower ash"... was that in comparison to Penn Synthetic... or just a general comment? Reason being, I have found that Penn smokes noticeably less than Yama. Evinrude XD100... even less.

Adding a Fuel Bladder -- grounding

There won't be any issues by doing that - I think we're still just wondering if it's necessary. But as noted a few times, there's nothing wrong/dangerous about doing it. You won't need 10g - although, again, it can't hurt. As noted above, best practice is to go to a bus bar. Going right to...
