About 2 months ago I took out the bracket drain plug on my 1990 228g and a crap tone of water came out and it rode like a dream it felt like my Yamaha 200 was a 225. But it was sitting on a dry stack for a week and in the water for a day and then it feels like the bracket is full of water again...

Yeah it is only getting down to 29 over one night and back up to 40 and it’s on a dry stack all of my live wells and what not have no water in them but I will shoot a little antifreeze in a couple spots or maybe I’ll just run it before night comes

The boat is on a dry stack and was wondering how I drain the motor I have only ever flushed it and done basic things but it has never gotten this cold here in nc

Yeah the has had a soft spot since I bought it 2 years ago I have some things that have happened like hard pounding in are inlet or ocean and I’ve hit some small brush in are river but I wouldn’t think that that would cause damage but I’m not an expert

The trailer is aluminum and is like new it’s a 2004 I think but it has good brakes they just have a problem with them that they don’t engage I am probably going to take it to my buddy he does a lot of work on cars so I’m thinking he might be able to get something done

I’m talking about low gear on the tranny it locks it in 1st and I have a lot more low end torque and I’m probably going to get the trailer brakes fixed I can tow it without breaks but without a boat on the trailer
