    About 2 months ago I took out the bracket drain plug on my 1990 228g and a crap tone of water came out and it rode like a dream it felt like my Yamaha 200 was a 225.     Yeah it is only getting down to 29 over one night and back up to 40 and it’s on a dry stack all of my live wells and what not have no water in them but I will shoot a little antifreeze in a couple spots or maybe I’ll just run it before night comes

    I just want some answers about my motor because it’s going to get down to 29 in a day. Do yaul think my block will crack or is everything fine, if not what do I need to do to protect the motor and possibly the hull.

    I can’t get any till next week but it rained a bit and there was a little mold on the deck for some reason I did a hammer test and I could only do the top half of the transom cause the boat was in the water but it all sounded great and bounced

    Yeah the has had a soft spot since I bought it 2 years ago I have some things that have happened like hard pounding in are inlet or ocean and I’ve hit some small brush in are river but I wouldn’t think that that would cause damage but I’m not an expert

    The trailer is aluminum and is like new it’s a 2004 I think but it has good brakes they just have a problem with them that they don’t engage I am probably going to take it to my buddy he does a lot of work on cars so I’m thinking he might be able to get something done

    I’m talking about low gear on the tranny it locks it in 1st and I have a lot more low end torque and I’m probably going to get the trailer brakes fixed I can tow it without breaks but without a boat on the trailer
