I have a Garmin 8612 MFD at the helm of my 2000 Marlin. I believe this unit is Wi-Fi capable, has anyone used a Wi-Fi capable screen to see the sonar down closer to the fishing area on the boat? Is there a less expensive alternative to a separate networked unit?

I have the same problem. Supply line is broken somewhere in the headliner. I think I will just close it off , not worth the effort to remove the liner to replace it

They are all chrome plated brass or bronze. Generally pitted. Watch a bitch removing them but will look nice with new stainless fittings

I am replacing all the thru hull fitting last on my 2000 Marlin after having the gel coat redone. Do the old fittings have any value or should I just toss them?

I have a 283. It is a solid rocket. Great boat. I also just bought a 2000 Marlin with the intent of flipping the motors to my 283. I am now seriously considering keeping the Marlin for all the reasons stated above. I run the 283 to the Wilmington on occasion but it cuts the 1/3 rule close...

Seasick thanks but maybe I wasn’t clear the picture in the manual for the 761 Gypsy does not show a Fleming in place does that particular gypsy not use one?
