I'm not saying I'm right, but I've owned outboards since 1987 all with stainless steel props and have never carried a spare prop. It's alot of money to have tied up in something you may never use. I prefer good towing coverage which covers more problems than just a damaged or spun prop.

I have a friend who bought a Hydra Sport for his place in FL and is having problems with separation of the hull to deck joint. Don't know much else about the situation except that you get what you pay for.

If you call Grady Customer Service they will tell you exactly where to mount in the boat. On my Tournament 225 they told me to place it by the fresh water tank. I ended up with a transom mount and it works fine.

Miss Sadie, I don't now if there is any difference between them. I got started using it after reading about it in a test in the old Powerboats Report. They used the regular spray nine. As with all things "Marine" it's probably more expensive in the Marine version.

I have always had good success with regular Spray Nine (not the Marine). It kills bacteria, mold, mildew, viruses etc. We use it in our ambulances for all blood borne pathogens.
