    No Power to AC Pump

Ok - sorry....so the water cools the condenser. With that said, with the raw water getting pumped into the system to cool the condenser, does that have anything to do with cooling the air? Or as I mentioned above, should the air be blowing cold as soon as I turn it on regardless if the...

    Almond Silicone by ASI

Thanks for sharing. Does the silicone have mold free properties built in like the GE?

    No Power to AC Pump

When I turn knob the unit goes to fan mode first, then I turn the knob a little further to "on" for cooling and I hear the compressor kick in. Are you saying that even though the pump is NOT running, and the compressor turns "on" the fan should be "blowing" out cold air? I thought the cool...

    No Power to AC Pump

I put a voltage meter down by the pump where the connector is located and I get no volts. See attached pics. I bought this 2009 307 this July with 48 hours on her. She was kept in a fresh water environment. I bet the AC was never used.

    No Power to AC Pump

No separate breaker for pump and no separate fuse either. Only a breaker for the AC. Something is not telling the pump to turn on. The unit is not very accessible.....you have to be plastic man to get near it.

Thanks, I’ll check out the unit in a couple days when I have a chance and see if I can find the external electrical box ur talking about

    No Power to AC Pump

I have a 2009 Tournament 307. Comes with Air Conditioning. I turn on the AC control in the head and the fan turns on, no problem. Then I turn it to cold mode and I hear the compressor turn on. However, I am getting no power to the little red dometic AC saltwater pump at the stern of the...

    Shower Drain on 307

I solve a problem and than find another problem. My latest issue is as follows: I finally had the time to test the shower drain that is supposed to go to the shower “sump pump”. So I put a running hose from my dock (not too much pressure) on the floor of the head by the drain. I pulled the...

Tournament 307 - proper engine height?

Thank you for the feedback Seasick....what does check for "toe out" mean? As for the trim tabs, I assume you mean the Bennett tabs....I have them set at "0" for this test. No trim. Unless you mean the zinc trib tab just above the prop....(I think that is what it is called)

Tournament 307 - proper engine height?

I took another pic of my engines cruising at 4400 32 mph at one click past half on the trim. It certainly looks like the vent plate is buried. I also noticed on my buddies 283 release his twin 250’s are mounted 1 hole higher than mine. Granted my beam is 1 foot wider. Nonetheless, I sent an...

    Marine Head Inlet Seacock

Update Took boat for a 2 hour ride today. Pretty choppy out....the last 45 minutes of the trip, I opened up both sea cocks (inlet and outlet) ...no vibration/no noise. Which is great. I do not like hearing the vibration while operating the boat. So I guess I will be using the boat with both...

Thanks for the feedback guys. All good ideas. I'll figure something out next time I haul her....

    Marine Head Inlet Seacock

Yeah maybe some pipe insulation to lessen the sound. As for running with the sea cocks open.....I don't think that is recommended. Especially the marine inlet and the holding tank. A buddy of mine left his holding tank sea cock open on his Grady 283 and it filled up his holding tank. Not to...

Tournament 307 - proper engine height?

The plate does seem buried a bit....I would think that these engines would have been mounted correctly coming out of the factory....but with a first year model, maybe they made some adjustments the following year.

Tournament 307 - proper engine height?

Just bought a 2009 307. First time Grady owner. Besides the marine inlet sea cock issue, I’ve noticed when I trim the engines down (3 clicks), I noticed they really kick up a lot of spray (more on port engine) and drench the side of the engine cover. When I trim up 6!or 7 clicks, no issue...

    Marine Head Inlet Seacock

Here is a quick video so you can hear the noise/vibration https://youtu.be/7PJSxoPpwvc I really want to figure out how to make this noise go away. I was also thinking of removing the hoses. Thinking somehow they are contributing to the vibration. Understand that while this noise is happening...

    Marine Head Inlet Seacock

Thanks for the reply. I like the theory. No pick up strainer on these two sea cocks. See attached pic showing the two sea cocks for the head....looks like smooth opening.

    Marine Head Inlet Seacock

I am new to the Grady White forum, recently bought a 2009 Tournament 307 with 50 hours on her. (I had a Robalo R227 before, Four Winns before that and 1969 17" Tri-Hull as a kid growing up) The 307 was used on a fresh water lake and was kept high and dry in a boat house. Boat is very clean and...
