Flush mount rod holders on bow for shade poles?

I’m sure he’s happy to sell you those fittings for $225. Takes less than 30 seconds on Google to find all the “Marine Town Recessed Fixing Bush” that you want for $38-$50.

2022 Canyon 271 Seacock location question

You have a bracket for 2 pull shafts, how many through hulls/ seacocks do you have there? The one you show is in the water inlet bracket, nothing in the discharge bracket. Do you know if you have a fresh water, or raw water/salt water flush head? If fresh, you only need one discharge through...

    228 rear bilge pump location

My biggest concern with the whole bilge pump set up was that a one inch hole in the bottom of the hull would flood 10 times faster than the water would drain through that small conduit into the rear bilge. And the forward bilge certainly couldn't keep up.

    228 rear bilge pump location

Use the "hockey stick" method when you install the pump, and you won't be hanging upside down when you need to service it.

Can someone tell me what this is?

A Google lens search shows that your device is likely a dual GPS/iridium antenna. Several names using the same housing, most likely Northstar in the US. AI Overview To use Google Lens, open the Google app and tap the camera icon in the search bar on a mobile device, or open Chrome and select...

What kind of hours do you rack-up?

I wish I had a clock which recorded the time I spend on my boat in the driveway, and in my slip.

What kind of hours do you rack-up?

I got my re-power back Aug 29. Since then, I have used the boat 10 times, 43.6 hrs, 406 nm, 187gal.

Yes, I still have it. I no longer own a Grady, nor frequent this forum, so best bet is to text me at 919-923-2521

Does anyone make a thru hull plugs to replace thru hull fittings?

Grady used plastic, not Marelon, through hulls and deck drains on their boats for a long time, as many on this forum have commented how they crumbled when trying to remove/replace. Maybe not below the water line, but an inch or two above is not much comfort in choppy seas. Happened to me on both...

WANTED: Aft cockpit canvas for a 1995 Grady Tournament 223

I don’t recall ever seeing a Grady cockpit cover that went only to the back of the seating area. Most either go to the windshield, or to the back of the hardtop or bimini top. Maybe that is what you meant, a slant back cover.

What do people use to store stuff that can rust?

Tennis ball cans in a plastic bin with a lid. No labels needed, you can see what is in each one. Labels are usually plastic film that just peels off. Free at your local tennis court trashcan.

    Bimini help

I would start out by adjusting the straps until the Bimini is level. Undo the two rear straps, and walk them forward until the frame collapses in the bow. Straighten out the canvas, and then wrap it and the straps around the frame. Prop the whole thing up on a boat hook, or a deck brush, in the...

    What happened here?

I find it useful, especially with twins, but I find it annoying when working on the boat, and will sometimes just up-plug it, because mine beeps every few seconds when only one motor is running, even with that key off. Unless you are the original owner, maybe a previous one, or a mechanic...

    Windlass kit

Best bet for a split hatch would be Rusty Ron’s/Island Marina(252-706-5706), here in Morehead City. He buys all of Grady‘s leftover parts, blems, returns, etc. from the factory. Has a huge warehouse of Grady parts, but is not cheap, pretty much in line with Grady pricing.

New-to-me 2005 tournament 205 companies that made each part

My last comment, but Matt did picture himself, or someone else, cutting on a slalom. Sooner than later, most people graduate from the tube to a ski, or a wake board, where rope height is critical. If I were considering adding a pylon to a Grady, I would want it to extend as far down as possible...

New-to-me 2005 tournament 205 companies that made each part

There are good reasons, for the skier, the boat, and the driver, why nobody makes a ski boat with an attachment point on the transom, much less behind the outboard. If the ONLY reason for a pole is to get over the OB, serious skiers wouldn't be hooked to a pylon, or a wake tower, right behind...

SeaDog makes what appears to be the same, for under $10. I have a couple of new spares, since I sold the Grady, that I can send you, but I am out of the country for the next 2 weeks.
