Well maybe not the worst fear realized on my 190 Tournament

Well, had a good look the Grady last night and I am relieved in what I found. I located the fuel leak, it is the filler line that has a crack in it after i looked up in the ski locker. I am replacing the filler and vent line to the tank as they are original (actually have 1989 on them. After...

    Plugging Transom Screw Holes

I have some screw holes in my transom from the previous owner when he mounted a transducer/line for a fish finder that is no longer in there. When I got the boat last year, I ended up using a high end aircraft sealant as a temporary solution. I am replacing all the thruhulls/scuppers with SS...

    Teak Restored!

The teak trim off my 89 190 Tournament. I don't think it had ever been done before because the boat sat in storage for over a decade. I sanded with an orbital sander and by hand with 60-80grit and then went over with 220 grit afterwards. I used Sikkens Cetol Marine Natural Teak. Amazing product...

I am aware they don't make this model anymore as the 192 reappeared and replaced it. It is a 2008 with 16 hours use and...

    Fuel Tank Dimensions?

I have an 89 190 Tournament with the original 62 Gallon tank. I started to smell the gas in the ski locker and around and I assume it will be fuel tank replacement time. There hasn't been any in the bilge but I imagine when I open up the deck up there will be corrosion on the top of the tank so...

    1989 Grady White 190 Tournament (150 Hours)

My family bought this Grady White last Spring after being fairly envious of a fellow cottager who had a similar one on our lake in Ontario, Canada. Grady White's are fairly rare in these parts compared to the US. The boat has a neat history. It was originally bought by a family in the Eastern...
