Plastic transom trim corners for 175 spirit

Anyone know of a source or know if Grady still makes these corner plastics pieces for a 1992 GW Spirit 175? Thanks!

    265 first ocean run

Saw you fixed your trim tab issue DIY. If you end up deciding to get the actual actuators I dealt with this exact issue. See the second page of my thread here. https://www.greatgrady.com/threads/quick-question-on-265-recessed-trim-tabs.32070/page-2

Quick question on 265 recessed trim tabs

New actuators on, definitely the right ones this time

Quick question on 265 recessed trim tabs

the old actuator piston actually actually goes in further on the left, so it makes it look much longer than it actually is

Quick question on 265 recessed trim tabs

So after 9 months on special order I finally received the correct actuators from Bennett/Yamaha. I have one laid next to the almost new one I had replaced earlier in the thread that is now off. The correct actuator bodies appear to be about an 1/8 inch or less shorter than the old ones, so the...

    Grady White 265 Express

Probably by myself over here, but I am using Yamaha hubs with Evinrude Rebel 15.5 x 17 inch 3 blades with twin OX66 225 getting a little bit over 1.2 nmpg medium load average sea state in a 2000 265. Prior to getting the 265 I had done extensive prop testing with my various ETECs on my 244...

Grady white 248 voyager single 225 etec best prop?

I played around with a number of props on my 244 Explorer and 200HO Etec. I had the same issues with the 15 pitch rebel that you are encountering. I liked the performance and economy, but could only pull about 5450 rpms out of it with a regular load, less when loaded for offshore. I ended up...

Quick question on 265 recessed trim tabs

Looked up the part number SA4016SRC is Bennett's "extra short actuator"

Quick question on 265 recessed trim tabs

So I ended up having to remove the extension I added to the pipe nipple as there was not enough clearance when pushing it back through the transom and the 90 elbow hit the transom well inside. What I was able to do was remove the top of the new actuator and thread it on directly to the old pipe...

Quick question on 265 recessed trim tabs

Does anyone know what the thread size and pitch is for the Bennett pipe nipples? EDIT: Did some digging online and it seems like its nothing special, just 1/8 NPT.

Quick question on 265 recessed trim tabs

So dug around in my boat this afternoon and think I might have a plan for the actuator. It seems like someone might have done some work on this one at some point in the past as the starboard side, the 90 degree fitting it right up against the inside of the transom. On the port side (which is the...

What direction is that picture facing? Starboard chine?

Quick question on 265 recessed trim tabs

I can easily reach most of my forearm into the opening I will create for that plate. Provided I can just reach straight down and not around a bunch of stuff which it appears I should be able to do based on your picture I think it might work.

Quick question on 265 recessed trim tabs

I was taking a look at putting a small 4 inch screw in deck plate in the position seen in the picture below. It looks like I should have access with this? Not sure and don’t want to cut a hole for nothing.

Were you able to figure out anything clever for access? Dealing with the same issue right now.

Quick question on 265 recessed trim tabs

Also how much of a btch is it going to be to access the inside of the transom where that pipe nipple comes through for the actuator?

Quick question on 265 recessed trim tabs

So I never got the pictures, but this morning I went out and took out the screws securing the actuators and in addition to the poor level of sealant that was sealing that hole in the transom, I found the that port actuator was seeping fluid out of the pipe nipple connection. It then proceeded to...

    Leak inside Cabin

Had the same leak, its coming from the forward hatch. Best plan is to remove it, dig out the old rubberized seal. Then clean the frame really well with acetone, and lay it back in the opening. Use masking tape to tape off around the perimeter of the frame. From here, use a good non-permanent...
