Finally got my 282 (sold the 257 I loved to go just a bit larger). Boat has a Jabsco electric head which I want to clean. I have the boat on a trailer, so to wash down and flush the head, does it need to be in the water? if not, where does the water come from to flush? thanks :hmm

Any 282 on a trailer owners have a height from the radar to the ground? Currently in the final stages of purchasing and little concerned about trailering with power lines, signs etc. tks

I want to replace the bunk carpet on one side of my trailer this winter. Rather than dumping the boat at the ramp, how would I jack one side of the boat up about an 1in, so I could pull the bunk off, replace carpet and place the bunk back on? Boat is a 257. tks

My 2005 257 has a small head unit on it...granted there's not much room under there, but is it possible to install a larger unit such as the 282's have? Any thoughts? tks

I love my 2005 257, but don't like the electronics inside of a box. Any recommendations on how I can flush mount them, and still make it look good? If you done this, can you add a picture? tks :hmm
