Tabman Thanks for the excellent technical info and it all makes good sense, even to a a somewhat novice boater. I guess, I'll live with this small pet peeve and just enjoy all the other positive benefits of this boat. Everyone's input and suggestions have been greatly appreciated. Ron

Thanks for all the suggestions...this 376 Canyon is a "keeper" , but like everyone, I'm always looking for any improvements...I think I will try the larger trim tabs, as its the easiest and least expensive possible solution. Our season on Lake Ontario is almost over, so its not a big issue right...

After using my GW Canyon 376 for almost 200 hours, I have found very few things that I really don't like about it, except when I'm running slow at sight-seeing speeds (5-10 MPH). At those speeds I find it hard to keep the bow down, even with the use of the trim tabs and changing the motor...

I just listed my 2014 GW-376 Canyon, on "Boat Trader"...it has 140 hours of fresh water use on Lake Ontario. If anyone has any interest, please contact me at your convenience. Ron

Thanks Jeff for the response...that's pretty much what I do, but I also might go one step farther as another member has suggested and remove the seacock handle, but keep it handy if needed. I appreciate your advice...Ron

To Dennis G...I was asking a simple question and did not need a rude response. I have never discharged a holding tank in any type of open waters. To the other responses, I say thank you... Ron

Thanks for the response..and maybe you're right with the key lock for the electric discharge valve. As long as the key is not in the slot and hidden, it might solve the problem and I think I will run it past the US Coast Guard before I get stopped by the Canadian authorities. Thanks again. Ron

I have a GW 376 Canyon and most of my boating is on Lake Ontario and the St, Lawrence River and in both cases its easy to travel into Canadian waters. One of the stricter rules when being inspected by Canadian water enforcement agencies, is that the discharge valve for the Head must be locked...

I just put a new 376 Canyon in the water and realized it did not come with a US Flag or flag holder. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions as to where to put it or not put it, your comments are welcomed. I will not be doing a lot of fishing with this boat, so that might help with your thought...

Thanks for the encouragement. The weather looks good for the next week or so, and they will launch the boat on Saturday, at POE. I'm looking forward to the new boat and getting back on the water, even if its for only 4 or 5 days, right now.

I'm looking for advice on hopefully getting my GW 376 into the water, maybe as early as March 15-30th? I really don't need warm weather and can handle 50-60 degrees on the low end, but certainly would want light winds and friendly water, and plan to spend 4-5 days to hopefully get the required...
