'05 Gulfstream that I have water in my gas. I have a quarter of a tank in my rear 100 gal. tank and just filled my 50 gal. tank. I was flipping back and forth between tanks so not sure where the water is coming from. HEAT was recommended to remove the water. Will this work? If not what to use?
The bracket is in good shape. Having it sandblasted, pretreat and painted. It will be better than new. The problem was it wasn't sealed by Grady, just sealed around the bolts and caulked on the outside.
I was wondering about foam filling the inside?
I have an '05 Gulfstream that I'm replacing my 225 Yamaha with a new 300 Suzuki. I noticed some peeling on the bracket and thought it was painted. Got a call that there was water inside the bracket. This is a Gill bracket put on by Grady when new from the factory. The shop said they will take it...
Getting ready to repower my '05 with a new 300 Suzuki. At his time I only have a small side platform. Looking for suggestions on where to find a full length platform.
I am having my enclosure replaced. Finally got the snaps off but the zippers are frozen solid. They won't budge. I believe my used '05 Gulfstream enclosure has never been unzipped or unsnapped. The enclosure needs to be removed in sections. Any suggestions? Thanks
Sorry, I do wander off course.
I just had the Seastar system added last week. Might have something to do with the problem? I'll do a little more checking before calling the mechanic.
My '05 Gulfstream has one trim tab not working. I can hear the pump but not moving. Could it be low fluid, bad pump? Where is the pump located. I hear it by the helm.
Just added Seastar power steering. This is fantastic.
I had a 300 Suzuki on my '95 Gulfstream. Perfect motor for the boat. That boat got destroyed in a tornedo last year. Found a nice '05 Gulfstream with a 225 4-stoke Yamaha. Miss my 300 Suzuki, but like the newer boat.
