Might want to try the “ have a friend sit on the corner of the boat thing “ 30 gallons of water is about 250 lbs so about a pretty good size friend. To split the capacity into 2 corners of about 20 gallons each is about 350 lbs. at the back of the boat.. Good luck !

The bracket on my 95 225 had some minor pitting and before I recoated the bottom, I sanded down some of the pitted areas and used JB Weld marine to fill in some of the voids. Might be something to consider until a more permanent solution is or might be required. Good Luck !

I would almost think if you can remove that part you could take it to a good brake shop that could duplicate it. Lots of motors being scrapped out too if you have any boat yards near you. Might be worth a sh. Good luck.
