Thanks - I was thinking of going newer in the next year or two. I wouldn’t want to sell it to someone with just a patch knowing it might fail in the next year or two. I need to find out how much to rebuild or buy used. Marina shop is closed until 1/13 so just looking at engines on FB.

Updating this 4 years later - corrosion hole in my engine block near the thermostat. Time for a rebuild or a Repower. . 500 hours - what would you do?

so - as silly as this continues to be, i havent found a good solution. there must be Grady "inserts" or something... and its hard to find Foster's on Cape Cod! :)

theres a one man shop who does custom work in Chatham, MA. I had mine redone but i dont know how you get a whole new set

These did not work. They only made the cupholder taller and less stable... anyone want to buy two for the price of 1 ??? :)

if you are attaching the hose, i always assumed that meant i wasnt pulling in seawater (engine off) -- so why would it matter? Thanns!

Hey all - 2004 Fisherman 222. The cup holders at the helm - the holes are waaay too big - even for a can with a coozie. is there supposed to be an insert or something to hold the average 120z. can or water bottle? sick of splashing all over! :) Thanks for any ideas! BM

Loving mine - surprised at how comfortable the bow is. Took a Sea Pro for a ride last summer which intimidated me with the high bow but loving the 222!

It does. They are removable. Speakers are under them so I am contemplating removing for a while to see if I miss them. I’m missing the backrest on one of them. Let me know if you find a source to replace that! make sure they check engine fuel pump (assuming Yamaha). Also, I had to replace...
