The 185 was/is a nice looking boat, but IMO it has some design flaws, with weight distribution. I think the added length of the 192 will help with that. There are a lot of 185's for sale with less than 80 hours on them.

Does anyone know if AFI horns are made by Ongaro? Just had boat serviced, mechanic put on a new AFI horn to replace the original Ongaro horn. Mechanic said they were made by same company. He also put the horn on upside down.

I would go with the 22'. Sea trial both boats to see how they handle. I would want a four stroke motor same age or newer than the boat, re sale will be much more difficult with the older motor.

I am in Maine also and use Travelers Insurance. All your numbers are different from mine(level of coverage value of boat etc.) but it appears they are in the same ball park if you extrapolate. Your post has given me cause to call around again to the various agencies it never hurts to check. Thanks

Yes, Redman did do the arch, very nice. I sold that boat shortly after that picture was taken and the arch help the sale. I will be putting one on the 2005 this summer.
