1986 Sailfish 255 - Both tanks were replaced with new senders last year and all worked fine. Now when I select the main tank the indicator pegs hard to empty and I just put 40gals of fuel in. I did replace my switch panel but that went pretty well....i thought... Aux Tank works, no problem...

I'm using a bottom paint with 45% copper and I'm wondering if I can use this on the trim tabs and outboard engine brackets? I dont paint the anodes but will they still protect from corrosion or should I be using a different type of paint on the metals? Thnaks in advance!!

Spoke with customer service at GW today and they suggested a trailer with a carrying capacity of 7400# so that puts the GVW up towards 8900#. Trailers got to go..not chancing this one. Thanks for all the replies boys..Much Appreciated!!

You're right it may be marginal or not enough...The axles have stickers that read 3700#.....I'm going to guess the hull with engines and fuel topped off maybe close to 6400#....Don't know what the trailer alone weighs but I could be border line or above 7400 GVW.....Maybe I should look for...
