Has anyone replaced a live well pump on a 2009 228 Seafarer. If so how difficult is it?

I have a 2009 250 Yamaha and my tilt engine gauge is just blinking and not moving when the engine is being moved up and down. I've checked the lever down at the engine and that's moving fine. If it needs replacing how hard is it.

I just had the 100 hour maintenance done on my yamaha 250. How do you stop/ re set the blinking on the dash everytime I start the engine.

Sombody must have slammed my boat the other night in my slip. I found my anchor shaft bent and the guide totally twisted to the point that the front through bolt was almost ripped through the pulpit. I check for damage on other boats but couldn't find the boat that hit me and nobody came fowward...

Victory!!!!!!!!!! :dance Put a jumper cable on the battey that had no power and conneted it to the selector and full power. So I had a bad power cable all along. Easy enough to fix that. Now if the rain will stop so I can finish the rest of the boat and get it in the water.

Now I'm working in between down pours. I got back out there tonight and wired the batterys back up. Power to only battery one. Switched the selector to battery 2, nothing. Then I switched the postive wire from battery one to battery 2 and now there's power to # 2 no power in #1. So that tells me...

Sleeping on this all night so one more thing to ask. Everything is running fine on battery #1 it's when I switch over to battery #2 that power drops to nothing. Is it battery selector or do you think I some how crossed the wires when hooking up batteries? :?

I'm thinking the battery selector but it started to pour out and I'll have to wait until the weather breaks before going further. I think a voltmeter is next on my list

I had one made up that covered the center console and the leaning post. I had a zipper put in so that I could open it up and slide all my cushions in the space between console and the seat.

Thanks for your replys. I decided to drain the tank and use it our vehicles. I don't want to risk issues when it's in the water. My son loving having a free supply of gas while it lasts.

Should I empy my fuel tank and start with fresh fuel ? I didn't have any problems last year and I had 3/4 tank which was properly stored. What do you guys do/ recommend ??

I bought a new 228 Seafarer 2 years ago.Boat show special price was around $87,000 I went to the boat show yesterday and the asking price for this boat was $92,000. :jaw Price are getting out of hand. What do you think is the profit off of new boats are at these day?
