Does anyone have a rod holder setup that goes across the full width of the boat that maybe sits in the rod holders? On the 228 there isn't really room on the back gunwale to put any additional rod holders unless the are straight up. Any pics of your setup is appreciated.

That's almost closer than HMB. It would seem farther since you have to go through the bay, but I guess you would go north from HMB to get there.

I haven't launched from any place other than Moss, SC and HMB, ocean wise. I was looking to go north here since the pods are going that way, but didn't know of the better places to launch out of or if it was worth the drive by truck or boat. Coming from Manteca, it's still a drive either way.

I have to say, the 366 is a fail. I don't think it could stand up to the Yellowfin or Contender especially in speed. Although the 360 on the other hand is very nice with the new hardtop, but it is still a pig. I hope GW extends the hardtop down the line.

We managed to put eight in there, the pic was of six or seven, we ended up with nine so #9 went in the livewell.

This is about all she will hold, 6 large ones.

The bracket is the reason we actually bought the boat. It gives you so much more room for a 22 footer. Although go charged for a full 28 feet in Tahoe 2 years ago, 2ft motor, 2ft grady drive bracket and bow pulpit. In comparison to the Striper, Trophy and Whaler the Grady was just right.

Maybe that dealer can buy out the Grady dealer up here and do something for their customers like have a club or more than one tournament a year.

Those we caught at 37.09 and 123.09 about 35 to 40 miles from Half Moon Bay where we launched. Usually they come in to about 30 miles. It was early but they only get a little bigger to about 40-45 pounds. 40 was the biggest I have heard of this year. It has been dead over on the Pacific side as...

This is thankfully, the first thing in 3 year to go wrong with my 228. Went out on a tuna trip and noticed the trim indicator was not working. Could this be a simple fuse or wire that has come loose? Any help would be appreciated.

Does anybody have pics of their added rod holders? I would like 2 to straddle the motor but looks like they would almost be vertical. How about a gunnel to gunnel with holders on it? I saw the Ausie snapper holder and thought that was interesting but probably not on my boat for say tuna. I...
