    Grady longevity

I'm not looking to start bashing GW, on this - at least yet. In this case I have paid for now 2 "industry experts" opinions, and at one legal opinion. I would expect any organization to push back at least one on something like this. This seems pretty clear cut. As far as this being a one...

    Grady longevity

So 15 years because of water intrusion. Is this less of a problem with composite boat, and where is the water typically leak from?

I believe the edgewater is wood free...could make a difference if your looking to hold onto for the long haul.

Changing my thru hulls on my 92 explorer: some questions

Obviously make sure you bed those properly...you'll have a mess on your hands if those leak slowly over time.

    Grady longevity

As a general question, what would an expected life span of a Grady hull be? Assuming that you don't undertake a project and replace stringers, transoms, etc, properly maintained of course. Obviously it can be infinite, if you pour money into it. There seems to a number of mfg's that offer...

Grady 265 with flush mount raymarine C90W and Edson Wheel

Re: Grady 265 with flush mount raymarine C90W and Edson Whee Looks awesome. I have the same thing on my project list. Looks like acrylic? I was thing starboard, but I think I like the look of that better.

Found! Saltwater Sportsman Grady-White 265 Express Review

Re: Found! Saltwater Sportsman Grady-White 265 Express Revie I have heard a couple people say that the 265 can be quirky...3 years into mine, just have not seen it. As a matter of fact had not heard that at all until last year. That hull still amazes me running straight as an arrow, hands of...

265 Express stbd side locker ram...

Does anybody know what size (part number) the hydraulic assist arm (or whatever you call it) is on the starboard side passenger seat locker is? One of those items I have on list to take care of on the off-season, but boat was wrapped without a door. Looking to wait as long as possible before...

Yam Fuel Mgmt gauge with Raymarine C120W

I have not done this, but it is on my list. Sounds like you have it right on the money...I would wonder if the fuel flow is not enough to give a reading at 6kts - jump on plane and see what happens. Also use google - there are a number of articles on this.

    330 Express - F250's - Prop Selection

I would agree to try some props first. I have the same issues with my 265express - obviously smaller boat, but same hull design, motors, etc. Called Ken at Prop Gods - suggested the 17" Rev 4's. Waiting for them...but anxious to see how it works out.

Help Find Old Post re: Stuck screws on 265 dash panel

I had started that thread (can't find it either). One of the members here sent me a few, but I needed some more. I went to the local Grady dealer and had them in stock. Apparently it is something they run into all the time.

265EX - Pulling fridge for Xtra storage

What brand did you end up going with on the replacement? Now that I have had several people tell me the same thing (including the Grady Dealer). I should put something in that works.

    Fresh water fill

Why does grady put these fills in the cockpit? Am the only one that finds this annoying? You fill it and there really is no way not to spill water everywhere. It is not a big deal, more of just an annoyance. I am certain that has to be a reason, just not sure what it is.

265EX - Pulling fridge for Xtra storage

I thought I would throw this out to see if anyone has gone down this road. I have an 04 265express which I keep on a mooring. Initially I thought I would be doing an occasional overnight with the wife on it, she prefers whatever hotel is nearby. SO - the fridge that is in the boat now, does...

    Transducer placement 265Express PartII

Actually just re-read your post. I have plenty of space behind the thru hulls, on either side of the bilge pump, but the ducer needs to be in clean water. Is that where you where talking, or are your through hulls further back?

    Transducer placement 265Express PartII

It sounds like my through hulls are further foward. The b164 would fit, but the flanges from the the through hulls extend too far. I dont know if you have the manual (if not they have on the Grady site), they show all of the chases and where to acess them. The real tough part I am finding is...

Express 360 vs 330 - would love the input

I think I might be in the minority in this, but I would go 360. The fuel burn will be slightly higher, and maintenance will be a little higher with the twin 350's - but not a ton. Most of the other costs are really the same. Jumping from a Regal to either one, will be huge either way. You...
