    AGM batteries

thanks, I am now on my third set of batteries in a six year old boat. I keep getting a response from the mechanics that this is "normal" in Florida. I already spent almost $1000 to have someone go over the entire electric system and they found no fault.

Marlin docking help stern to with wind

There really is nothing wrong with using the piling to ease around a turn. Just make sure you don't ram it, but gently touch it and pivot. That is why you have a rub rail. if you don't smack it hard you are fine.

    Batteries 06' marlin

Two years is not that unusual for the life of a battery. Yes I know they should last longer. All it takes is one bad cell and it can cause you problems. I have had similar issues and it always came down to a bad battery. It may be a pain but take them out, take them to autozone or equivalent...

    Grady 33 gas generator

My only thought is a loose or corroded ground wire. Since it started up for a minute, if it was loose, it may have vibrated off it's connection.

    Bow Thruster

not sure what you are asking, but I have one on my 30 Marlin and love it. even with twin engines, the wind really takes the bow around like it had a sail. the bow thruster is worth every penny. At least for me.

if the performance question was to me, I get about 1.3 MPG at 4100 , full fuel, usually 6 people and gear on board. I go 60 miles off shore here on the west coast of Florida so can be an expensive weekend.
