As you will see from the first pic there was a ton of what I thought unnecessary items on the dash. I filled a whole bunch of holes first by plugging them with wood and sealing the holes with glass. This was done by scarfing the existing edges and overlapping 1 1/2 oz matting, and finished with System 3 Quick Fair (works awesome). The glass was primed and painted using Interlux paint, 2 parts Hatteras Off White and 1 part Off White.
I scrapped the original Grady panels and had custom panels made from Scott at Vector Imaging. He was great to work with and integrated the new Grady logo for me. The switch panel is backlit red and looks really trick at night. He even reproduced the Yamaha keyswitch for me.
The steering wheel was replaced with a new 15" 3 spoke, and obviously all the gauges and such were replaced. As you can tell I like the "less is more" approach. Check out the before and after pictures...
