I was going with your approach and planned to recess them in that groove/ lip of the lid with two GO7s. However, the GO9s were on sale and at the same price as the 7s so I had to change my plans.
How hard was it to replace that top panel with the gauges? Can you share the steps you took as I’ll do that this off season.
