I need a starboard side vent glass for my 88 Seafarer. Mine is broken and I have a piece of plexiglass in its place. Will a port glass work? They look the same.

Good question, I can't imagine why the glass, itself, would be any different. But I've never tried to find out!

Have you checked with a local glass shop to just cut you a new piece?

The wing window glass is the same but the hinge is different. The glass is a laminated "school bus" glass. It is not tempered. The glass shops don't like to drill the hole for the window pull handle. Too close to the edge and glass may crack.

I had wings fabricated and tempered. Much stronger than OEM but expensive. Plastic (acrylic) is next best choice. It lasts longer than polycarbonate.
