I'm on my 3rd selection of hose. Can't seem to find anything that fits. Deck drains and scuppers. 1-1/2 inch barbs. Tried sanitation hose, fuel hose (what was there) and hot tub tubing (sched 40 flex hose) Nothing seems to fit correctly. They are too loose. Double clamped I cant get them to seal. Literally, I can pull them off after they are double clamped. Takes force, but they will pull off. Pretty big difference between the fitting OD and hose ID, If I had to guess, about a 1/16-1/8 gap. My scuppers sit very close to the water line. Needless to say a loose hose here make me very nervous. Before I wasted another $100-150 worth of hose I would ask what you guys found that would fit nice and snug.

in my 208, I believe I used wire reinforced 1 1/2 inch hose. I sourced these at a local marina, they cut to size. Try soapy water to slide onto the barb. I know... the clamps should be opposing...

All i can say is tha VAC hose was tight on my SS Attwood thruhulls. I had to heat it with a heat gun and even then it was tough.
If you tried three different 1 1/2 hose and none of them fit, maybe the fitting is the problem.

Hmmm they are def Attwood 1 - 1/2 scuppers. I'm going to stop into the RV store and double check the sanitation hose. I ordered via the internet and possible I got the wrong stuff. I notice a PVC flex hose that looks identical with different dimensions. I'm thinking that's what I have. I have some clear reinforced hose I used for livewell drains and it fits tight.

These are labelled by ID (inside diameter) of the HOSE. The fitting for a 1 1/2 ID hose is 1 7/8 OD The hole is 1 7/8 to 2"
Your fitting is not 1 1/2"
