Can anyone tell me where the carbon canister fuel vent is located and how to access it on the Express 330. I have a 2018 with the dreaded slow fuel fill issue. Hull side vents are clear and I’d like to potentially bypass the carbon fuel canister to rule that out. If that doesn’t work I’ll need to install a new vent at the tank per the tank manufacturer recommendation (more invasive and more money).

Grady-White customer service saves the day again.

“That carbon canister is behind the water heater. You can remove the panel under the starboard helm fold down seat; you will see the water heater. I also sent you a picture of the canister through the starboard cockpit speaker hole.”

Thanks for closing the loop. I don't have that feature on my boat, but this will be helpful to others in your shoes.

Good - get that thing out of the mix. Although often times overfilling leads to clogging it, it shouldn't have been there to begin with. EPA oversight.

Based on the threads posted, I assume that my 2003 330 does not have these cannisters??

How the heck do you get hands in there to replace them? Through the speaker hole?

Grady White Engineers should have to replace every single of these items themselves at least once on a boat after the cap and hull are joined together at the factory. I had to cut and install a 10” deckplate by the starboard helm seat just to get access to the 4 bolts holding thestarboard helm seat in place so i could replace the vinyl

When my blower motor went bad, i cut the hose and wires and re-positioned the new motor in the bilge by the generator instead of the original location behind the port battery switches.

Yup - very normal in pretty much all boats to do stuff like that. It's just the way it is. If you make one thing easy to get to... then something else will be hard to get to. And everyone complains about whatever they're working on NOW :)
