How you you know the hose fitting was not an antisiphon valve?

I ran a wire thru it... if there is an antisiphon, it has to be down low by the pickup

Then you have an air leak on the tank side of primer bulb, or restriction on motor side of bulb.
Bulb needs to stand up while using with arrow pointing up.

get a fuel pressure/vacuum gauge on the motor

E_Z

the ant valve is on fuel tank, but if you have a fuel selector switch, you do not need them

Now that is starting to make sense..... would they still be required by the CG?

not if you have a shut off valve

get a 3 gallon aux tank

plug into motor, go run it

I got her running yesterday.. I replaced all hoses and the tank selector, I really think it was the selector. The only open issue was everyone was telling me I had to have the antisiphon valves. What you posted makes great sense.

Thanks for all the help everyone....

Selector valve may be leaking air.

That is an understatement, the aux. side had a small crack in the threaded end for the nipple. Like I said it was the 1st time I switched tanks. And I guess when I turned the handle the internal plastic piece cracked making the main tank side to suck air also.
