Grady White 208 Helm refresh

Hi guys, sharing a weekend project with you. Updated the look of my 1999 GW Adventure. Replaced the old faux wood panels and side trim with acrylic. Used 1/4 inch black acrylic as material. Im happy with end results. Boat looks a few years younger.

The wood paneling looks decent when it's brand new but even then, I still think it looks a bit dated or out of place in the few spots it's used in and especially when most of the rest of the boat is done in fiberglass or the acrylic. It's one of the many reasons why I bought a 2000 and newer Grady White 228 Seafarer as I believe they got rid of the wood paneling after 1998 or 1999? The difference is night and day as it looks 100% better than it did before and yes, it looks like a much newer boat as well. Good work!
