Thank you all for the reply. Just got the boat in the water middle of July last year and played around a lot with trim on motors and trim tabs. Curious as to how you guys trim the boat in a following vs a head sea. obviously bow up in following but curious if there is anything specific you guys do to the boat when running it to help keep her straight. Don't get many calm days where I'm at so most of the time I'm running in snotty weather.
Put the tabs UP (so they do nothing) and pull the fuse out. Use your motor trim. You will have no problems.
As said above..go fast not slow.
I put the new motors "toe out" ( lengthen tie bar 1/2") It goes straight at idle speed now
GET AUTOPILOT!!!!!! A good one...don't cheap out...
I have 4 blades and they are a huge improvement when heavy with gas and ice and in real sea conditions. I tested several 3 blades first.
I have Suzuki 4 strokes so they are sized very differently than Yamaha HPDIs
Mine are 4 x 15.25 x 22
