Some pre-launch interior pics. We re-did the cushions and curtains. Not bad for $150 in materials and our labor to cut and sew.

I was able to use the back side of the cushion (black fabric with zippers on all but one). Really wasn't that bad of a job.
 
Looks good. I have done some cushion work and it is satisfying. Most recent issue I got to get to is the back rest cushion on my 226 Seafarer. The stitching has failed but the vinyl is still good. The folks at where my boat is kept had 'their' cushion guy give me an estimate: $500 for this cushion that is maybe 2-3" thick, maybe 15 x 12"? But the quote went on: He was going to be able to do the other side too......for another $500. Sure sounds like DIY is the way to go for this sort of work.
 
Just get a walking foot for your sewing machine. You can do just about anything (fabric, vinyl etc) on a boat with it.
