Looks a lot like the back of a Freedom, just with no place to sit.
just with no place to sit. EXACTLY!
Remove the cushions on the bow of the Freedom and put in the platform and now you can fish front and back. But I don't fish, so it's not a concern for me.
In the ocean, standing on a platform is not possible most of the time. Thats the issue I have with the center consoles too. Too many cushions and seats, not enough open deck.
I like center consoles with open flat deck in the bow and a coffin fish box. Like some of the Contenders,Regulators, Yellofwins.
Its just tongue in cheek ribbing you know... I like bowriders! They keep thousands of boaters in the bay and off the fishing grounds

They could have picked a different number from 265 but I guess they are keeping numbers in line with the other bowriders. 600HP is WAY TOO MUCH for that boat.
The 265Express had its flaws. It was a shrunken 330 that really doesn't work as a livable cabin.
Really no reason for an enclosed head and galley sink, refrigerator, water heater. You know, stuff the wife wants... Wasted space.
Why fishermen loved it-
LOTS of lockable space for rods and gear and a bunk to crash on an overnight canyon trip.
Carries 250 gallons of gas. 300 pounds of ice in the deck fish box.
Room for 4 fishermen to actively fish.
Protection from the wind and spray.
Fantastic ride.
TAILGATE! The motors are not six feet behind the boat.
