If anyone had outriggers mounted on the hardtop could you please post a pic of them. Trying to figure out where the best place to mount them is. Thanks

Hi, you will still need some sort of welding done as you need more support than just the hardtop. I found this pic of a 257 and you can see how Grady did it from the factory.

I have the Taco top guns on my boat. I located the center holes just outside the hard top outer frame. I didn't have the welded in plates but after 10+ seasons no issues. I like them up there and out of the way. Only advice I have is to use 15' poles to keep the stress on the hard top at a minimum. Use a backing plate on the bottom side, seal the holes well to ensure no water intrusion into the core and suggest a wedge plate on the top to offset hardtop roll off.

Fishtales thanks for the reply with the link to pics. That is what I’m going to do.
 
The Lees are nice as well if you want to go off the side. You just need to take the interior panels off and drill through the glass. Use big stainless washers on the backside. GW does it this way, and those Lees are super easy. The only negative is it is tight to get by without them installed, a little tougher when they are there. Not a deal breaker though.
