Gents,
Searched and found very little, hard to believe I'm the only one with this problem. Bought boat with bad gas and drained and replaced fill cap o-rings with generics from West Marine. None were on the caps when I got the boat and apparently I got the incorrect size. So now I have 30-gal of fouled gas. I Just got of the phone with Perko and they are sending me replacement o-rings P/N 054000099B along with 0540 Acccessory Mounting Rings P/N 0540DPRBLK FREE OF CHARGE!! Nice to see this and thumbs up for Perko :dance Most importanly they said not to tighten the cap too tight. Snug it an leave it. Apparently if you tighten it too much it distorts the seal. Wonder why they have 2-holes in it for the deck tool.
