End of 2019 season noticed when turned key there would be a delayed response to engine starting , and sometimes would turn the key more than once to get the engine to start. During spring tune up 2020 I found the + battery terminal to the starter was very loose and assumed that was the problem. Used the boat 5-6 times this season and no problems until today. Now i have to turn the key multiple times 4-5 to get engine to start. I feel like its an electrical problem either in the ignition/key switch or possibly the neutral switch in the control box .Any suggestions on where to start or should i be looking at the engine instead. suggestions on how to diagnose PLEASE
just to be clear , sometimes I turn the key and it starts right up....only having this issue with the port side engine .... boat has twin 2004 Yamaha 225 4 strokes with 1200 hours on them
