I have a Marlin 300 with hard top. Sitting on the trailer maximum height is 160" (13' 4") without the radome mounted. Maximum allowable height (without a permit) to transport/trailer is 13' 7". I already have an oversize permit for width, but height is problematic. I am trying to figure out if there is some way to mount the radome on a fold down frame or something similar that can be attached to the hard top frame/bracing. Has anybody done anything like this in the past on a Marlin, or seen anything like it? Right now every time I transport the boat I have to disconnect and remove the radome before transporting and then reverse all that when I put it back in the water.
