Just removed all the chaulk from the interior of my cabin and redid it. I used a chaulk remover tool from home depot, got about 90% of it up, then used 3M sharpshooter on a towel and a little elbow greese and got just about all of it to rub off. I would assume the deck would be the same way, that is my next project, just waiting for a stretch of dry days before I do that. Make sure you use a 100% silicone chaulk otherwise you will see mold over time. Grady uses a GE 1700 in Almond I was told by my local dealer. I purchased a GE almond 100% silicone chaulk from Home Depot and color was almost identical and it adhered in the cabin perfectly.
