Replacement Cleat 1994 232G

I recently installed a windlass and I am now looking to add two more cleats at the bow. Anyone know of the correct replacement?
 
There's no "correct" placement in the sense that there is only one specific place they must go. Put them where it works best for you - add a decent backer plate.
 
Ummm.... I could be mistaken but I don't believe he's asking about the "placement" for the cleats, it sounds like he's asking for the part number for a stock "replacement" cleat? Which from the catalogues I've seen online, they only seem to go back to 2004, so that's about the closest that I can get you. That being said, a 2004 Grady White 232 Gulfstream should be a part number of 10-283 for a heavy duty cleat in an 8" size for the "replacement" part number. The first link is for a used cleat, looks like they're selling each one separately, the second link is for a brand new one, of which it looks like they have a few for sale. The third link is for the 2004 parts catalogue, and yes I know your boat is a 1994, but as mentioned that's the oldest one that I can find online. Good luck!

I am not sure if you are asking about the actual cleat or if you are asking about where to mount the cleat.

In either case Denis's answer is sound advice.
 
Thanks guys. I was asking about the correct replacement part number. I found some threads on here that helped me a lot.
 
I figured as much, and as mentioned unless they're somehow vastly different over the years, it should be the aforementioned part number of 10-283, along with the links that I posted above as being the correct cleats. Good luck!

Were you able to find an exact replacement? If so, that's a GOOD find! :)

If not, and you're intent on perfectly matching the rest... maybe just get something close? In the end, all that really matters is that it works :)

My '82 had Marinium cleats... given your boat isn't a whole lot newer... is that what you have?
 
Oh, German, I meant ask... what does the cleat actually look like? Is it a standard looking, 4-bolt open-base type cleat? I'm assuming it is. As you look for new cleats (whether Marinium or maybe SS... FYI, Marinium may be really hard to find), the proper term for that cleat is a Herreshoff cleat - using that term may help you find something that matches. Attwood makes them - relatively inexpensive (probably less than $25). Suncor makes some nice ones - a little more HD than Attwood - but the Attwood ones are MORE than strong enough. If memory serves, though, Attwood also makes an HD version.
