I just saw this the other day and thought it was a cool idea, though the $170 price tag is a bit absurd for a hunk of plastic. Seems like something that could be very easily/cheaply made at home on your own.

Great idea how did you attach to the plastic bulkhead? Were the pipe threads long enough to put the cap on the back side?

Yes the pipe threads are long enough to screw the cap on the back side.
