Hey all,

I’ve got a 1994 Adventure 208 that was repowered by the prior owner with a 2010 Yamaha 150. I’m assuming during this time the trim cap in question was replaced. I’m trying to replace the trim as it’s starting to corrode, but I’m having a very difficult time figuring out what it is, and where to find it. Ideally I’d like to move towards a non metallic material so I don’t have this issue in the future.

I’ve gotten quotes on fiberglassing it and for now that’s going to have to wait until the time comes to redo the whole transom.

Thanks in advance!

It's generally referred to as a "bang cap".

Grady makes a replacement (has been for a while) in vinyl. But you could also buy fiberglass L-channel stock pretty readily/easily.
