I have seen this question asked many times before. I tow with either my F350 or motorhome. Today when I was looking into the procedure to flat tow my F350 behind my motorhome I checked Ford and this picture from their towing guide cracked me up. It's towing a Sailfish I'm almost certain and the color of the truck is close to mine. Just gave me a little chuckle this morning. Post a pic of your tow set up if you want to share.

Here's my actual truck and boat. Slightly different angle but looking pretty similar. I guess my truck was destined to tow a Grady. LOL

We also now have this motorhome that we tow it to the ocean with and then have someone else splash it for us. Rated for 10k and she does a great job towing it but does eat into the fuel economy real quick.

Guess I'll be the first odd duck out as I don't have a pickup. I use a Toyota Land Cruiser.

I get a lot of grief over towing with my F-150, but it is designed to tow it so.. eh. Tows it fine.

I like KY's setup though.. just wish I did not have to park that downtown Austin as it would not fit.. hence the only reasons I got the 150.

Weill replace it one day with at least a 250 though.

"I" did not set the photo up.. I was in the house. They thought it looked "cooler" with all the freaking rods pointed all ways.

I can definitely feel when I'm trying to speed up hills but the 6.6L duramax has a lot of power. The cool thing is the surge brakes on that brand new trail with 4 stainless discs, make the boat magically "disappear" whenever I try and slow down. Such and upgrade from my previous junk trailer.

I just spent $2200 having my 8 year old trailer brakes and bearings rebuilt including a new surge. Wow I didn't know a boat trailer could stop so nice.

Yeah, it's awesome. Spending money like a crazy person has the upside everything just works (for a while). My trailer does not have bearing buddies, it's all sealed, they say get it inspected after 5 years. So no greasing them.

leeccoll, those high side rails/bunks you have on your trailer, mine doesn't have those, what are they for? I'm guessing to center the boat on the trailer?
