I have an inflatable w/ inflatable floor and keel. Electric outboard that packs in bags. It's a pain to inflate and deflate, but gets the job done for ship to shore.

I think its going to depend on the boat. I have it on my 330 express w/ 425's and I usually don't touch it during docking. The boat has a lot of windage and helm master struggles to fight against current and wind. I have found that I have a lot more control using the throttles and the bow...

Nothing more to add other than I came from a Sea Hunt Gamefish 25 as well. 330 is a game changer and the ability to add overnight and weekend trips lets us get way more use out of the boat. It's going to feel huge at first but you'll be docking it like your gamefish in no time. Enjoy it!

Documented vessel gets you out of excise tax in MA as well since it isn’t registered which adds up quickly especially with a new boat. Got inspected by USCG last season and no issues with documentation material, just make sure you have the id number permanently fastened to the hull as required.

Martha's Vineyard is a snap from Lewis Bay, your boat will do fine. Add all the caveats about checking weather, knowing the charts, etc. etc. etc. There are a good amount of rocks in Lewis Bay and the seas can really stand up on the windward side with our prevailing SW. I have a set on my 330. Fantastic motor. They are huge, but have tones of torque and while they may not be hyper efficient, the efficiency doesn’t change when the boat is loaded, so it probably balances out in the end.
