Best way to sell my Grady

Thanks guys, fishtales summed up my entire purchasing thought process. Good info from all. I took a quick look at boat trader and noticed most if not all late model grady's are being sold at the three grady dealerships in the area. There is something to be said about your potential buyers...

Best way to sell my Grady

Hi all, have not been on here in forever. Getting ready for retirement so selling my grady. Next boat will be much smaller. I still have a loan on it so would a broker be the best way to go or try it myself. Transfer of ownership seems difficult dealing with the bank etc. In case you are...

    Engine Trim Indicater Inop

Hello all. I have the GW225 with F250. Trim on the motor is working fine but the indicater on the gauge is not moving. It is only showing one bar all of the time. Wondering if there is a trick for resetting? Batteries have been disconnected all winter and yesterday was the first day out. My 16...

    Tournament 225

Ed, your dealer can get you a good lead on the mooring cover. They are custome made. If you get the full canvas set from Grady you will have the snaps already setup for the cover which goeas all the way to the back of the transom.

    Tournament 225

Buckster make sure you get the ski pylon for tubing and wakeboarding. The pylon has worked better than I expected. Great motor and boat combo. Good mpg at cruise but can really move when you want to get up and go. Works good trollin 4 rods in the holders. I rarely get tangled up even with fish...

    Question about the Tournament 225!

I would agree with Leek. I have the built in ski pylon with the f250 motor on the 225 and it pulls wakeboarders and tubes much better than I expected. Definitely have to use the trim tabs and tilt in for best results. Like you said it's not going to compete with the boats made for that task but...

08 Tournament 225 fresh water pressure is just a trickle

Wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue before I start digging into it below deck. Did all the right things over the winter with antifreeze etc. Looks like I am getting about a third of the pressure from last year. Checked the nozzle and no blockage there. Pumps running and not...

    Best way to avoid porpoising

Viper, something does not sound right. I have the exact same boat setup as you. The only time I have experienced porpoising is when I get too greedy with the engine trimmed out to far going for max speed and mpg at a given rpm. I find the boat to be well set up when I am solo. No trim tab needed...

    tournament 225 winterize

Bummer, end of my first season. looking for tips on getting the anti freeze rv pink stuff into the livewell and raw water washdown system. The fresh water looks easy. For the raw and livewell should I disconnect hoses in the bilge and pour in? Must be an easier way. Saw one post about using a...

    Power for a Tournament 225

tournament 225 power If your thinking of the newer tournament models the F250 turns a bigger wheel than the F225. One thing I like about the larger engine and larger prop is when I'm putzing around about 1400 rpms I can get 7 MPH and 4.3 MPG with the trim up high. I typically cruise around 3500...

    Kenwood stereo reception

We have Winner. Thank you Plymouth Grady. Bought a car replacement antenna. I fold it up and place it right behind the Garmin when not in use. Works much, much better. Found that the Kenwood comes with a lead and connector in the radio, was cut off and wrapped by the dealer when installing the...

    Kenwood stereo reception

All, have the tournament 225 with the Kenwood stereo. FM reception is poor. Has anyone figured out an easy way to improve the reception without drilling holes? I hear the vhf antenna splitter does not work that well but what I hear may not be fact. Gotta be able to pick up those Oriole...
