    265 Express Engine Options

I repowered my 2001 Gulfstream with a single 300 Suzuki and have been very pleased with performance since 2019. I do my own maintenance as the engine is very easy to service. I think you'll be very glad you saved the 10K. At the time I bought my engine the savings was close to 7k. Haven't had...

    Interior Panel Grady White 232

Hi, I used industrial 3M spray on contact cement for the naugahyde and double sided adhesive tape to attach the overhead panel. The tape was the same as used for automotive moldings. The tape is the failure point.

    Interior Panel Grady White 232

Hi All, Searched the forum bit, didn't find a solution to the issue I'm having. There's an interior overhead panel that has lost adhesion. I took the panel down and removed the adhesion tape and as much of the contact cement as possible, replaced the vinyl covering over the plastic panel...

    232 Gulfstream trailering

I tow my 232 with a 2019 Silverado1500. 5.3, Max tow pkg...I find it tows just fine. The biggest downside, hard top causes wind resistance vs a boat without the hardtop. I loose about 1-2 MPG to wind drag by comparison.

    232 Gulfstream Questions

I bought off brand china trailer tires on Amazon! The reviews were very good with about 10% negative out of over 1000 reviews. I took a chance and have not been disappointed. I think some negatives were overblown or just people that did not like the competition. On a set of 4 radial tires it...

    Suzuki Repower

Haven't tried a 4 blade on a Suzuki, on my old boat the 2 strokes gave better grunt at the low end and put the boat on plane quicker with 4 blade. I was also able keep on plane longer at lower rpms. The trade off was a little less top speed.

    Pompanette Helm Arms

Hello, The arms on my helm seats are wasted. I really don't like them anyway as they tend to be in the way and would just like to remove them. The arms look as though they can be removed. Before I get out my tools and get busy, has anyone removed these and are there any pitfalls to...

    232 Gulfstream Questions

Agree with your maintenance analogy! I trailer my 232. The biggest issue I have towing with is wind drag and push from the hardtop. I'm in Va. and have not had any issues or stops from width while towing. There are many boats on the road wider that the 232. My trailer is going to get...

    Suzuki Repower

Thanks for the welcome. Looking up the Islander, your boat is quite a bit longer that mine, is it as wide? I did have a old 25 1986 Hydrasports WA with a singe 250 e-tec that got similar fuel burn your getting. It was a old deep v Kevlar hull, 8' 9" beam, and was very heavy! Had to use a 16...

    Suzuki Repower

My Prop is what the installer recommended for my 232. It's a Suzuki brand, 3 x 16 x 17R. I did insist the engine be mounted as high as possible, and it is. The 232 really does well when the engine is mounted high. The installer agreed with this, saying the Suzuki performs best mounted this...

    Suzuki Repower

Hi, To answer your question about a D300. I purchased a 2001 Gulfstream early last year and used it for a while with a single 225 2 stroke Yahama of the same vintage. I don't believe it had a lot of hours but just wanted piece of mind since I did not know the history. I purchased a...
