We are now debating between 1/2" or 3/4" StarBoard - any recommendation on which to go through? looks like most people use 3/4, but the 1/2" is so much cheaper

none. cushions and lining were removed by the previous owner. Its raw inside. we thought about painting it (or at least parts). photo attached. we have since cleaned it up and replaced the locker covers.
