I do not think "deep cycle" and "starting" are the same thing. I have heard that deep cycles need lower amps when charging than are produced by Grady supplied charger and that may cause the problem

I am going through the same process on the same boat with the same questions. FWIW, I have heard that yes, can put 2 Group 27's in Stbd box but tray will need to be slightly modified with a small cut out. Hoping someone who has done it will chime in to confirm that. I know Grady/Yamaha...

headliner crack Grady will fix it outside the five year period. My 2005 265 developed her's this past spring so it doesn't seem right that there was a year where the composite wasn't right. Happens alot in 265's. Like others have said, the dealer can fix it and hopefully it doesn't show up again.
