The curtains on my 2005 seafarer are in reasonaly good shape.. The little metal tabs on several of the zippers have come off making it very hard to use the zippers. Short or replacing the zippers, which might not be the right idea on canvass this old, does anyone have a neat trick for dealing...

There is a 4 position rod holder at the rear of a 228 mounted in front of the live well. The plastic holders themselves are getting old and cracking. Anyone know the manufacturer and where I could pick up the plastic holders.. Thanks

much less pull when trimmed out but I cant trim that far in heavier seas that require slower speeds

I think the aft of skeg needs to go in direction of pull.. Just wanted confirmation..

228G with Yamaha 225.. Boat has a constant pull to the right at high speed. ZInc is centered.. WHen looking at zinc head on, which way to turn clockwise or counter to offset pull. Do not believe it is a trim tab issue

No amount of tapping or pulling seems to free the valve.. Was not used in a couple of years.. ANy suggestions on how to free..?? seems like a bear to get to.. Hoping someone has a simple solution

Price of resins used in hull is directly related to price of oil.. Prices will probably continue higher.

since $7.00 Gas would instantly bring the economy to a halt, the price would then instantly drop just as it did when the 2008 financial mess hit. Price may go up but I would not worry about $7

Well I am going to adjust the trim tab and my mechanic feels there is a little oil leaking at the rear cylinder so I will repack that and bleed and see where we are. Unfortunately the boat is now "out for the season" so It is a project for next spring

At the moment the tab is in the center.. it is pulling to stbd.. Bleed was done by reputable local dealer. Cant easily do in the water so was looking for a starting point given the direction of pull. Just checked owners manual (last resort) says if it pulls stbd, turn tab stbd. and vice versa
